Job Description: Full Stack Developer – React

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on React to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, architects, marketers, and fellow developers to create exceptional products that inform, engage, and alert our users. Your expertise will contribute to crafting creative, robust, and user-friendly solutions for a diverse audience, including weather enthusiasts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop innovative features and products that enhance user experiences.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of TypeScript, Node, React, Golang, Redux (Redux Sagas preferred), and Webpack to build and maintain cutting-edge web applications.
• Extend and enhance the existing code base while integrating new functionalities based on product requirements.
• Craft fluid and responsive HTML/CSS (with preprocessors as a bonus) that seamlessly adapts to various screen sizes (phone, tablet, and desktop).
• Work collaboratively to design and implement solutions that optimize software development processes and add value in a cost-efficient manner.
• Communicate JavaScript/HTML/SASS designs effectively to team members for implementation.
• Develop, document, and execute tests for web technologies to ensure product quality.
• Create custom Object Oriented/Functional JavaScript libraries and leverage third-party APIs to enhance application capabilities.
• Contribute to the peer review process by conducting code reviews and providing valuable feedback.
• Mentor and guide junior developers on the team as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent years of practical experience.
• Proficiency in core software development technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and Node.js.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing web applications.
• Strong aptitude for Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional software design, capable of producing scalable and reusable code.
• Demonstrated expertise in React and related technologies, with a focus on building dynamic and engaging user interfaces.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality code on time, meeting architectural and design objectives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative and effective solutions to technical challenges.
• Experience with version control systems and conducting code reviews.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
• Bonus: Knowledge of responsive design principles, preprocessors, and familiarity with server-side languages.
• Note: This position requires candidates with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
