The Role:
Based in the Chief Executive’s department your role will be to support the council to deliver its strategies and key priorities, by developing your project management skills and your ability to work with a range of partners, both internal and external.
You will participate in the Council’s Apprenticeship Programme to gain a professional level of project management skills and attend a course of study with the designated learning provider to attain a qualification that meets the requirements of National Occupational Standards at Level 4. The role will be developmental, where individuals will be required to build on their existing level 3 knowledge, work experience and skills within a business and administration environment.
About You:
You will be helping to deliver high profile projects, designed to deliver high quality services and support Southwark’s residents. Projects will include project management support of key programmes designed to help deliver the council’s vision for Southwark.
You will develop strong project management skills and gain hands-on experience of all aspects of project management, as well as achieving a formal qualification.
