SP6 Looking for Software Engineer Intern at Clearwater, FL Full Time

Own The Role:

SP6 is looking for an onsite Software Engineer Intern to contribute 20 hours a week for a semester engagement with potential extension. We are looking for this individual to take their university schooling and passion for Software Development to collaborate on a greenfield enterprise platform!

In this position, you will be part of a small but growing team developing key portions of a new hybrid cloud solution that is responsible for automating security and compliance policy assessments!

How You’ll Drive Success:

• Design, develop, and test secure and efficient code using JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, and other relevant languages.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of our solutions, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
• Enhance our automation testing framework to ensure code quality and test-driven development practices.
• Collaborate effectively with local and remote engineering teams to deliver sprint goals managed in Jira.
• Learn from and grow alongside experienced mentors who are invested in your success.

To Be Successful:

• Passion for cybersecurity and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent coding skills and experience with various programming languages.
• Progressing towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with UI frameworks like React or Angular preferred.
• Minimum of 3 semesters completed in a relevant program (Computer Science).
