Position Summary:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for working in a small, dynamic and highly skilled engineering team, developing a product that is part of the suite of SpaceIQ products. The role will involve working in an Agile manner, closely collaborating on highly technical solutions, with an emphasis on scalability and reliability. The role is responsible for developing parts of the software IoT solution that runs on hundreds of thousands (and in the future milliions!) of devices around the globe, while at the same time, working on advanced, cutting-edge AWS serverless technologies that can process massive amounts of data.

To ensure success, the Senior Software Engineer must have a demonstrable track record in serverless cloud development. Experience with .net and C++ will provide valuable skills to the team in evolving the software.

Essential Functions & Primary Duties:

• 5+ years experience
• Experience with either AWS or Azure cloud (specifically serverless experience essential), including the following technologies (or equivalent on another cloud):
  • DynamoDB
  • Kinesis
  • AWS API Gateway
  • AWS IoT
  • Lambda
• C++
  • Windows & macOS development
  • Objective-C
• .net core/framework
• Agile

Nice to have

• Experience with communications protocols including MQTT, WebSockets, and Notification engines
• Scalable, high availability systems
• Experience with SNMP
• Experience with CI/CD
• Experience with deployment automation CloudFormation, Powershell, Cake, CodeFresh, Github
