Spark New Zealand Looking for Technical Operations Manager at Auckland City, Auckland Full Time

As Technology Operations Manager, you will be accountable for the overall operational management deliverables for one of our key enterprise customers.

Working with the wider virtual team and external third parties to meet commitments, you will be focused on BAU operational management, problem insights, as well as root cause analysis where required. You will be passionate about driving continuous improvement and will own the prioritisation and outcomes of work across key technology towers in the managed services contract.

Skills / Experience

• Experience in technology operations roles and customer facing
• Solid experienced and understanding of Unified Collaboration and contact centre environments (Genesys)
• Experience in Cloud based voice systems, eg MS Teams, Mitel, Cisco Webex calling deployments
• Experience in leading crisis and situation management of any critical or significant events that have major impact or disruption for our customer.

Technical Leadership

• Manage the engagement of the virtual team and external third parties to meet OLA commitments to the business and SLA commitments
• Drive migration from complex & bespoke to more simple & standard.
• Demonstrate innovation by recommending and ensuring successful adoption of technology
• You will be the go to person to help aggregate and own the specific technology initiatives within your customer technology towers championing a customer first culture and ensuring customer events are owned, managed and resolved with extreme urgency and focus.
• Ensure appropriate business risk levels are identified and solutioned.
• Ensure the business benefits from technical innovation are business justified and appropriate.
• Ensure appropriate technical frameworks and standards are adopted and deployed contributing to plans, roadmaps, and forecasts.
