Specialized Automation Services, LLC Hiring for Data Entry / Billing Clerk Job at Flora Vista, NM Full Time

We are looking for a great addition to our team. You will be responsible for keeping track of money owed to us by customers, preparing invoices, and updating records. Being good at math and a high degree of organizational skills are essential to support the day-to-day processes of the accounts receivable department.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience as billing clerk or general accounting experience.
• Handle Accounts Receivable data entry, send invoices to customers, and assure it is accurate and timely.
• Performs general bookkeeping work, which may include entering data and maintaining records, invoices, and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased or services rendered.
• Collaborate with project managers and customers to resolve billing inquiries, issues, and discrepancies.
• Follow the collection strategy in monitoring customer accounts for non-payment and skipped invoices.
• Verify client remittance reports.
• Assist with reconciling accounts.
• Provide regular communication to management regarding status of account collections.
• Highly organized with great time-management skills.
• Adherence to laws and confidentiality guidelines.
• Keep the customers contact information and processes updated.
• Initiate and establish new procedures for billing tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 3+ years’ experience in a billing field, construction industry a plus.
• Proficient knowledge in QuickBooks.
• Proficient with MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel spreadsheets summarizing aging/past due accounts.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree or vocational school training preferred.
• Excellent computation ability.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Responsible and ethical.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to submit to a background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour
