Spectrum for Living, a New Jersey not-for-profit organization, helps adults with developmental disabilities attain their maximum potential by providing quality housing and clinical services in state-of-the-art facilities and in the homes of families caring for a disabled loved one.

The Receptionist is responsible for receiving visitors, mail distribution, receiving, sending, and routing phone calls and messages, and clerical tasks.

Shift is Mon.-Fri. 1pm-5pm

New Starting Rate $14.13 as of January 1, 2023

Job Functions

• Receive visitors, appointments, tours, etc., prompt and notify appropriate staff of arrival. Arrange for comfort of guests.
• Route all mail (incoming/outgoing) in appropriate and timely fashion. All mail will be collected, dated, sorted, and routed.
• Answer the telephone, route calls, record, and route messages.
• Complete assigned clerical tasks, including but not limited to, photocopying, typing, and filing.
• Cooperate without fail with Spectrum Management or Division staff in any inspection or investigation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal and phone skills.
