Spectrum Hiring for Payroll Specialist at Charlotte, North Carolina Full Time

JOB SUMMARYThis position participates directly in the processing of payroll for assigned Charter Communications lines of business according to established processing schedule. In addition, this position provides payroll related support for all employees across the enterprise, including phone support, direct email support, and other workflow processing systems. �This position also participates in user training, system upgrade testing initiatives, and participates in the reconciliation of payroll related general ledger accounts.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES�� Administer and process payroll for assigned line of business on a bi-weekly basis� Maintain processing task list and processing documentation according to department standards�Provide payroll support all employees across the enterprise. Answer employee questions and concerns via phone or email�Provide support and coverage for other team members when needed�Scan, link and route payroll documentation using Perceptive Content�Participate in system testing as required for software/hardware upgrades, implementations, and integrations�Participate in corporate sponsored system training efforts�Continuously monitor daily duties for efficiency�Other tasks and duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum 2 years previous multi-state payroll processing experience requiredKnowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS version 8.5 of higher preferredKnowledge of Kronos timekeeping system preferredStrong data entry experience requiredGarnishment administration knowledge desiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills requiredFlexibility to work beyond established Mon-Fri schedule as needed. �Occasional weekend work may be required.EDUCATIONHigh school diploma requiredSome college level business classes desiredCERTIFICATIONS AND/OR LICENSESFPC required (either at hire or within 18 months)WORKING CONDITIONS�Office environment
