Speech Pathologist – Flexible Hours, Clinic, Telehealth and Community based. Full Time

A bit about us……

• We focus on supporting clients, their families, caregivers and community organisations to achieve functional communication and feeding outcomes. 
• We have a unique approach and at the heart of our practice we work to form strong client relationships and provide quality service, making the job fulfilling to go to each day. 
• We work out of offices in East Maitland, Singleton and Medowie and service the regions of Lochinvar, Cessnock, Dungog, Newcastle and Port Stephens as well.  The clinics have large therapy rooms and we provide telehealth, community and home based services. 
• We work with paediatric and adult caseloads with children, adolescents and adults with difficulties with speech, language, literacy, fluency, social communication and feeding.   Caseloads are organised in conjunction with team members, based on each persons strengths and their clinical interest areas. 

This is a permanent role, with hours that can be negotiated to suit the applicant.  There is a caseload ready to go and clients on the waitlist.  The right applicant can start immediately.   There are multiple positions available.

What’s required?

Essential:

• Qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Driver’s licence.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good computer skills.
• A good attitude, willingness to learn and to share your knowledge.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• We see a wide range of clients so it’s essential to have a Neurodiversity Affirming approach to assessment and intervention. 

Desirable:

• Experience working with high technology communication devices.
• Experience implementing literacy programs.
• Experience working with a mixed caseload.
