Sphere DX Laboratory Hiring for Data Entry Specialist Job at Louisville, KY Full Time

We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist to accession and result patient information into our database from scanned test results from dozens of COVID-19 testing sites across the Louisville Metro Area. The ideal candidate will come from a healthcare administration background and feel confident navigating shared drives, spreadsheets and patient information systems. You will report to a project manage and collaborate with us on a team of up to twenty people. Our patients rely on this team for having accurate and timely COVID-19 test results that are pushed out via text message.

Responsibilities

• Transfer test results from scanned documents to our patient information system
• Type in data provided directly from clinical leads
• Organize and sort spreadsheets with large numbers of figures without mistakes
• Verify data by comparing it to patient documents
• Update existing data
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested
• Sort and organize paperwork after entering data to ensure it is not lost

Skills

• Proven experience as data entry clerk
• Fast typing skills; Knowledge of touch typing system is strongly preferred
• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (Google drive, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel – all as a basic level to mid-level understanding)
• Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware and peripheral devices
• Basic understanding of databases
• Good command of English both oral and written and customer service skills
• Great attention to detail
• High school degree or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• On call

Supplemental Pay:

• Bonus pay
