Job Summary:
The Package Learning Administrator (LMS Administrator) works closely with Content Developers, Instructors, and Customers to provide comprehensive LMS setup, configuration, maintenance, and daily LMS operation, administration, & support. The administrator will assist & back-up other admins to accommodate for any issues that are brought in for a 24 X 7 support. They are also responsible to work with Records & Scheduling to maintain accuracy & compliance of hardcopy & electronic training records, expirations, schedules, enrollments, & record keeping for course completions, qualifications, and authorizations.
Responsibilities:LMS Setup, Maintenance, & Operation:
Responsible for day-to-day management of LMS to ensure seamless execution to serve learning needs
Monitors LMS enrollments, creates & assign LMS courses, configures curriculums, uploads course content, loads schedules, maintains LMS training calendar, & master course catalog, by adding, updating, & retiring courses.
Collaborate with Scheduling & Records, Content developers, LMS & SETS Vendors, & Instructors to setup, operate, maintain, and administer usage & analysis of LMS to include:
Configuring, maintaining, & continuously improving LMS tools, dashboards & control panels, set up data definitions (standard & custom fields across LMS objects), group definitions, user definitions & access rights (Administrator, Management, End-user), and instructor-led training item definitions.
Setup WBT for both internally and vendor-developed course content, establishing the master LMS training catalogue.
Defining roles, permissions, groups and structure of LMS for Tech Ops Training.
Training Records & Scheduling Support:
Assist & backup Supervisor of Training Records & Scheduling as directed by Sr. Manager Training to help maintain, file, enter, update, correct, and audit physical & electronic record inventories across SETS, ESS, & LMS systems to maintain compliance with internal & regulatory requirements.
Help assure electronic & hardcopy training records & tracking systems are accurate, complete, in compliance, secure & in an inspection-ready state.
Training schedules are proactively published, and delivery meets internal & external demand of customer base.
LMS User Training & Support:
Provide customer training & support of LMS including answering questions, providing advice, & basic troubleshooting to resolve problems; investigate and seek solutions to complex issues. Refer to LMS vendor for problem resolution as necessary.
Train & mentor LMS Power Users in support of their programs. Design & deliver new hire & rollout training sessions on LMS as directed. Create job-aids, toolkits, other collateral to document and communicate LMS processes and best practices
LMS Reporting:
Design & run scheduled & ad-hoc reports to monitor key metrics for roster management, facilities coordination, learner activity tracking, engagement, success, trends, monthly enrollments, completions, training evaluations, training compliance, and surveys.
May perform other responsibilities as assigned. Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate (e.g., emergencies change in workload, rush jobs or technical developments).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5-7 years’ experience in a learning administration role
Technical expertise with Excel to manipulate and create reports. SQL a plus.
Skilled at building cross-functional and multi-level relationships and excellent communication skills
Requires strong analytical skills and the ability interpret business requirements to technical solutions and business process mapping
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work well with others
Ability to maintain composure in high stress
Excellent time management and organization skills
Brings a positive attitude and team-oriented approach to tasks
