Sportradar AG Hiring for Agile Coach – Sports Media at Minneapolis, MN Full Time
Overview
At Sportradar we’ve experienced a wonderful period of sustained hypergrowth through a highly focused strategy based upon industry leading product innovation. To continue this trajectory, we’re searching for an Agile Coach to join the Sports Media engineering team, based in Minneapolis, USA.
This role sits within the Delivery and Evolution practice which has been set up to continuously improve business agility by equipping the organization with insight and frameworks to support collaboration, alignment, fast decision-making and learning.
The reporting line for this role will be matrixed to the Delivery and Evolution Practice (with all the other Agile Coaches) and the Tribe.
A key focus will be supporting the squads in executing and maturing their scrum/ SDLC process and working with key stakeholders to provide the visibility of the progress and impediments requiring focus and support.

THE CHALLENGE:
- Influence the ways of working.
- Facilitating Agile practices and ceremonies: daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning and other activities as needed.
- Working directly with the Product Owners and delivery teams.
- Coaching, mentoring and facilitating autonomous, cross-functional teams.
- Identifying team improvement opportunities and engaging with the people on experimenting with best/better practices in order to increase team effectiveness and overall product quality.
- Providing all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
- Building trusted and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
- Creating a continuous learning and development environment.
- Helping teams to capture agile KPIs to drive the agile mindset.
- Educating the teams and organization on agile values and their meaning to everyday work.
- Supporting teams in focusing on measurable business outcomes.
- Supporting the team to reach high level of self-organization and cross-functionality.
- Supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery.
YOUR PROFILE:
- People person who truly values collaboration. It’s essential that you are a self-driven servant leader that proactively plans work in order to reach long term business outcomes. Agile principles and values are deeply embedded into your core, enabling you to stay focused in a work environment that’s always evolving.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, Scrum, Scrumban, Kanban.
- Previous experience leading delivery teams advantageous.
- A strong interest in both people and technology.
- Bachelor’s degree within computer science or leadership is a benefit.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English).
- Agile certifications are a plus.
- Tools: JIRA/ Confluence/Miro.
- Experience with Flight Level coordination is a plus or other scaled agile delivery frameworks (Less, SAFE etc).
Sportradar is a global company. Some travel is expected to participate fully in the practice and to engage with other team members within the tribe. (in line with any government regulations e.g. due to Covid).
