CSRDP Representatives support several front-line work types within the Claim Submissions & Remittance Deposit Processing organization. At a high-level, the representative is primarily responsible for executing various transactional responsibilities (both manual and equipment facing) in accordance with established policies and standard operating procedures while meeting department performance standards. The bulk of the representative’s responsibility involves processing or preparing incoming healthcare payments in preparation for depositing or the processing of outbound paper claim submissions to send on behalf of clients. All Representatives are expected to begin assignments within our Document Handling area, where we support the extraction, sortation and batch creation of several thousand client payments, EOBs and correspondence per day. Although DH is the starting point for most, there are times in which business needs necessitate assignment changes. We may hire directly to fill these needs or expect existing reps to fill them. All reps are expected to conduct their work in a timely, efficient, accurate & safe manner. Reps can also expect to participate in various support roles as needed to ensure peers are supported and work is transported/distributed within work areas as appropriate.
Successful candidates must possess a positive attitude, action-oriented sense of urgency, attention to detail, flexibility, dependability/reliability and excellent time management skills while demonstrating personal ownership/accountability and adaptability in response to changing work conditions, assignments and learning opportunities.
