A key focus of this position is Managing a broad and dynamic workload, in-depth analysis work and incorporation of strategic goals where applicable. Sr. Project Managers should have a background in business skills and processes, management, budgeting, and analysis. This is a fully remote role; you can be based anywhere in the US. Why SPS? What is the day to day like? Responsibilities include using best practice project management methodologies and processes for all SPS Commerce programs, including defining project scope, objectives, business outcomes and high-level milestones. Extensive interaction with clients and internal sales, functional team, technology, and support teams will be required. * Be a true project leader as the main source for the project taking on high profile, large projects. * Manage day-to-day project tasks for implementing E-Commerce solutions from close of sale through handoff to customer support. * Project Plan: Create and maintain project work schedules, track customer requirements, and translate customer requests into project deliverables. * Coordinate delivery aspects of the implementation project to ensure deliverables are completed on time while managing project risks and issues. * Process Management: Define and communicate expectations for productivity and quality measurements. Address process breakdowns in a timely and thorough manner. Champion the adoption of consistent processes across the team and organization. Demonstrate the ability to apply technical, professional, or product expertise to real work situations. * Leadership skills and judgment; understands the impacts of decisions as they relate to the broader organization and customer. Pro-actively add value with post-project analysis and drives for positive project outcomes, team results and effective change management. * Self-Leadership: Gain the confidence and trust of others through authentic, ethical, and empathic leadership, adapting effectively to change. * Build Collaborative Relationships: Build and leverage strong, lasting relationships with a variety of people inside and outside organization and create an environment in which people communicate honestly and openly and work collaboratively to reach a common goal.
