SQUID Hiring for Sales Executive Job at Dublin , Ireland Full Time

Job Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, hungry and a target driven Sales Executive to join the SQUID team and help drive SQUID’s growth across Europe and beyond. You must be a self-starter and a problem solver. You will report directly to the Sales Lead in Ireland and the UK. Your role will consist of generating new business through B2B sales and managing existing relationships to drive up-sells and renewals.

SQUID is a digital loyalty platform founded in Dublin in 2019. Launched in October 2019, SQUID is growing fast.

We are now live in over 1,100 locations across Ireland and the UK and Australia.

We have just successfully launched in Scotland and we want to expand further across the UK.

Our small team works with a number of great advisors who have set up their own companies so we are constantly learning. Companies such as Google, Stripe, VISA and many more have worked with us to help us grow.

Responsibilities

• Strategically close deals from the coffee, restaurant and bar sector.
• Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to create opportunities.
• Consulting with existing clients to discover how to improve and adapt our product to fit their requirements.
• Consulting with potential clients in new sectors to discover how to create new features to make our platform compatible with their requirements.
• Updating our CRM, managing your own pipeline and reporting back on active deals.
• Finding new innovative ways of selling the technology.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Full drivers license and use of a vehicle
• BSc. degree in a relevant field, and/or relevant experience
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite
• Proven sales experience and a track record of success in B2B sales, taking leads from discovery to close
• Confidence in selling an innovative technology solution, taking both online demos and face-to-face meetings
• Digital sales experience is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities, introspection, and retrospection.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal; ability to easily explain the benefits of a service and simplify complex topics in a way that anyone can understand.
• Proven track record in delivering against demanding financial and non-financial targets

Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who is ambitious and has the ability to deliver targets on a monthly basis, somebody who wants to take responsibility for personally growing a company internationally from an early stage. We are looking for a positive, outgoing person who is conscientious and will work well with others and in a fast paced and changing environment. Our ideal candidate is also open to change and not afraid to admit errors or give feedback on processes. We are looking for somebody who is willing to travel and is open to visiting various cities across the UK to launch SQUID on a regular basis. We want somebody who can identify opportunities in a particular area and use initiative to travel there and launch SQUID.

Crucially, because we work in a small team with a lot going on, we need a self-starter. A person who can work ways to meet their individual sales targets!
