Job Description

SS&C Advent, a leading provider of award-winning software and services for the global investment management industry, is seeking a Marketing Ops specialist to join our award-winning team.

As a member of the Marketing Operations team, you will work alongside other team members and directly with our marketing leads in producing effective lead-gen and client experience marketing programs. The ideal candidate is a team player with technical skills, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn that can take ownership of daily marketing operations tasks, including end-to-end email, webinar, and event program builds in Marketo.

This is an individual contributor role with a significant campaign production responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Produce, QA, and deploy Marketo programs on behalf of internal clients

• Work within a pre-defined production ticketing and management process using Adobe Workfront.

• Look for process optimization at every opportunity and propose to the team

• Troubleshoot system issues as they arise; develop proposals for fixes and execute those improvements

• Document new processes, system changes, standards and assist in educating key stakeholders

• Collaborate with internal clients and colleagues on campaign strategy development

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in email/digital marketing

• Hands-on marketing automation platform experience (Marketo, Hubspot, or Eloqua)

• Stellar communication skills, able to work with IT, sales, creative, and marketing staff

• Strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Self-motivated; able to work both independently with minimum direction and collaboratively within a team

• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading skills

• Knowledge of Photoshop for basic image editing

• BA/BS in English, Writing, Communications, Marketing or related field preferred

• Strong service mentality to support marketing partners

Nice to Have

• Familiar with Salesforce

• Basic to intermediate HTML and CSS

• Familiar with email metrics and KPIs

• Up to date on email best practices

• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple way to key business partners and stakeholders
