SSM Health — a nationally recognized Catholic, not-for-profit integrated health system serving Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin — is seeking an Administrative Director of Operations for SSM Health Medical Group in Oklahoma City, OK.
The administrative leader will develop departmental goals and strategic plans to guide their team through all daily operations and planned growth within the region. In addition, they will oversee all staffing and performance actions, prepare and manage budgets for clinic operations, and lead a team of clinic managers and directors throughout several Oklahoma based ambulatory clinics.
The selected candidate will work closely with executive leadership and providers to ensure excellent delivery of care to patients across Oklahoma.
Ideal candidates will have 7 years of experience in healthcare operations, with at least 5 years of leadership experience. Experience in ambulatory care is a plus. Master’s degree preferred.

Directs the development and implementation of policies, procedures related to Administrative Services. Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include assuring the delivery of care to patients and adherence to service standards.
Develops departmental goals, plans and standards consistent with the requirements and objectives of the organization.
Plans, organizes and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions and continuing education initiatives.
Prepares budgets and ensures compliance with allocated funding.
Directs and evaluates all administrative services activities, including service level determination and complaint management to achieve performance and quality control objectives.
Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree

Seven years’ experience, with five years’ in leadership
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
