Supports a comprehensive post-injury and return-to-work program focusing on optimal outcomes in collaboration with key stakeholders.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers post-injury management programs to include return-to-work policies. Coordinates interactive discussions regarding medical restrictions, reasonable accommodations, job re-assignment and potential outcomes. Monitors duration of leaves and restricted work. Partners with the manager to coordinate return to work, and/or alternative work arrangements.
Coordinates data analysis, maintains the program within state regulations. Supports the organization’s goals, processes and strategic initiatives related to post injury management.
Communicates proper utilization and expectations regarding the associate event reporting system by front line staff and local leadership. Advocates for the injured associate in the medical management process.
Partners with key stakeholders on the analysis of event reports to identify trends, commonalities and patterns. Ensures the reason of reoccurrence can be ascertained in order to correct the circumstances and reduce associate injuries.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
Rare climbing.
