Job Description

The Facilities Tradesman will be responsible to a Facilities Ops Lead. They will perform general maintenance, construction and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, HVAC and/or sanitary systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the utilization of electric energy working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.

• Use and have working knowledge of a variety of construction and electrician’s hand tools and measuring and testing instruments.

• Locate and diagnose trouble in any energy systems or equipment.

• Work standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment.

• Service maintenance for various equipment including, but not limited to, man lifts, Hobart Power Cart, scissors lift hydraulic systems, fire alarm and sprinkler system, air compressor system, , telephone system, computer cabling and systems.

• Basic maintenance and repair of HVAC systems.

• Using the assistance of one or more Facilities Operations personnel in performing specific or general duties involving the trades of plumbing, carpentry and mechanical.

Qualifications

• 5 years or more in facilities maintenance activities.

• High School diploma or GED required.
