This exciting opportunity is based within SOS, our trailblazing ex-offender-led project that works across the country in areas affected by London gangs. Here, our staff work with both victims and perpetrators of serious youth violence and other gang-related offences and help them to be safe, to move away from offending, and
make positive choices.
About the role
Our successful candidate will provide vital support service to young people who are at risk of involvement in serious youth violence or gang-related activity, including their families who have a connection to the borough’s service provision. This will see you use your experience to assess referred clients, with reference to St Giles Trust assessment practices, and produce support plans and risk management plans based on assessments.
You will also promote inter-agency collaboration in the assessment and planning process, and develop and maintain relationships with both referral and agencies, ensuring a steady flow of appropriate referrals onto the scheme. Closing cases efficiently and positively, plus assisting with providing monitoring information and the evaluation of the project, are also key components of this role.
