Shift: Evenings

Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Pay: $36.27/hour

This position will support our main campus and off-site locations.

The Painter will conduct indoor and outdoor patching and painting of a general nature, including all preparatory work and necessary coats related to the job at hand.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, fill, and prime surfaces for painting
• Mix paint components and match colors
• Apply paint with a brush, roller, or paint gun to surfaces
• Apply plaster to surfaces
• May rig lines, scaffolds, and work on/from and erect ladders, platforms, or scaffolds as needed
• Keep work records updated as required
• Take proper care of all materials, tools, and equipment

Requirements:

• High School diploma or Equivalency degree, Trade School graduate preferred
• 5 years’ full time experience as a Painter acquired within the last 15 years, 6 months acceptable experience will be credited for each year of apprenticeship experience
• Spackle, paint, and texturizing experience required
• Knowledge or experience working with web-based facility management and/or Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred
