Job Overview

The chosen incumbent shall be responsible for administering and directing the day-to-day operations of System-wide Medical Record departments and the overall development, implementation and maintenance of Medical Record Services. In addition, they shall have responsibility for the Compliant Document Management Program (CDMP).

Qualifications

Work requires the knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts normally acquired through completion of a Master’s Degree in Health Information Management or closely related field and five to seven years of previous work related experience. Certification required as a Registered Health Information Technician or registration required as a Registered Health Information Administrator. Work requires solving problems requiring a comprehensive state-of-the-art awareness of the technology and literature in a professional, technical or scientific field or develop financial and operating plans for a large department.
