Cable Installer position. Contractor

Techs from the following skilled trades transition very easily to our industry : Satellite, cable, data, HVAC, Electrician, construction, plumbing, mechanic, etc. Basically Any trade that required mechanical and/or technical aptitude.

Looking for techs with a positive attitude, good customer service skills, pride in workmanship, and willingness to learn and apply to the field.

Responsibilities:
Technical:

• Installs, disconnects, reconnects, troubleshoots cable TV, internet, telephone

• Uses small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment

• Completes paperwork accurately, and reports and records work order status updates
• Complete tasks within time frame and meet performance metric goals

Customer Service:

• Greet customers in the home, be courteous and professional.

• Reviews all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement

• Interacts with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns

• Provide customer education regarding product and service usage

Qualifications:

• Must have a vehicle that you can work out of and carry a ladder on.
• Minimum 18 years of age

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

• Must be available to work weekends as needed

• Ability to lift up to 60lbs

• Ability to carry a 28’ ladder from truck to pole

• Ability to work in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Overhead lifting, climbing & carrying ladders with a weight of up to 60 lbs

• Working 3- feet above ground level

• Working in enclosed space

• Working in inclement weather

• Walking and climbing, kneeling and crouching
