If so, come and join our dedicated and experienced multidisciplinary team at Stand Tu Maia. You will need to be confident in the application of your core social work training but also highly adaptable, and able to tailor your intervention to the needs of tamariki and whānau. You will be patient, humble, sensitive and determined to engage and provide therapeutic supports to restore tamariki and whānau safety and wellness in a complex environment.

Stand Tū Māia is an outreach-based service, mostly working with whānau and tamariki within their home, school and community. We aim to be trauma capable and believe that healing relationships and social connectedness is at the heart of our mahi.
We celebrate and seek diversity and inclusivity. Your responsibilities will include working within a variety of cultures including Māori and Pacifica, and all staff are expected to demonstrate cultural humility and a commitment to restoration of whānau as a form of Te Tiriti redress.
To be successful in this role you will need:
What you will get:
o a strong sense of team and good working conditions
o a genuine commitment to wellbeing and significant training and professional development opportunities
o a collaborative, encouraging, supportive approach to casework including cultural supervision as needed
