State of Georgia Hiring for Admin Assistant 1/2/3 Job at College Park, GA Full Time

This position is located at the Land Protection Branch’s Tradeport Office at 4244 International Parkway, Ste. 104 Atlanta, GA 30354-3906. The incumbent in this position will coordinate the Land Protection Branch’s responses to the Georgia Open Records Act. Duties include tracking requests, working with program staff to determine the presence and location of responsive records, coordinating as necessary with management and the legal department, generating response letters, creating email templates, and responding to requestors within the legally required timeframe. As time allows, this position also performs general administrative duties to assist the Branch.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Georgia Open Records Act or compliance with other state and federal regulations.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Experience with databases and templates.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and succeed in a deadline driven environment.
