This position is not eligible for benefits and is limited to 29 hours per week.

Job Description:

This position is located within the Agricultural Inputs Division of the GDA.

The Ag Inputs Division is composed of seven regulatory programs: feed, fertilizer, horticultural growing media, lime, pesticides, seed, and soil amendments. Each program has specific rules and regulations to follow.

The Ag Inputs Division employs inspectors, which conduct inspections of facilities holding, manufacturing, and distributing products under this scope as well as collects samples of these products analyzed for quality and safety.

All Ag Inputs Division inspectors must complete advanced training in various specialized operations.

Job Summary:

Under direct supervision, performs a wide range of analytical and office administration duties that may be complex in nature. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Enter in CEU credit hours from industry
• Update information in licensing program
• Update information in inspection program
• Review registration applications, file, and scan
• Answer multi-line phone calls and forward to appropriate person
• Assist Supervisors with special projects

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications and Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 year of documented customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrate team orientation aptitude and flexibility
• Exceptional skills related to oral/written communication and customer service

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university OR Two years of related experience
