Main Purpose of Job
The Administrator I – Voter Registration Compliance Auditor – position in the Voter Registration Division supports the Division by implementing various projects related to the voter registration and petitions in Maryland. This position ensures the Local Boards of Elections (LBE) are in compliance with federal and state election laws and regulations. The position is responsible for conducting and managing investigations to obtain evidence of potential malfeasance in voting; providing the Director with sufficient information to determine whether to refer voters to the Office of the State Prosecutor; and gathering information on other related election cases. The position reviews and responds to information requests for voter registration information made under the Maryland Public Information Act (PIA).
POSITION DUTIES
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience : Four years of administrative staff or professional work.

LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS
Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
