Job Description
This position functions as a an analyst for the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP) and state Transportation Economic Development Fund (TEDF) and other grant programs as assigned within the Office of Economic Development (OED). The position is responsible for the development, implementation, and close out of TAP and TEDF grants. The grant applicants and projects are complex and require coordination among local desires and program requirements and constraints. The position leads development and implementation of unique and complex projects, processes and develops program reports, summaries, and papers. In addition, this position functions as the lead department representative for complex departmental, statewide, or cross-departmental coordination efforts. These duties are of a complex nature, requiring knowledge of, and experience in, the application of OED and department policies and procedures, programs, and the related rules and regulations.
The “Salary” listed above is range that reflects the minimum rate at the entry (9) level through the maximum rate at the advanced (12) level. Based on education and experience, candidates will be reviewed to determine what level they are qualified for.

Vacation and Sick Leave:Eligible full-time employees receive between15 and 35 personal daysand13 sick daysper year that may be rolled over to the following year if not used. Eligible employees also receive an additional day each year for community service or school functions.
Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
