About this Position:
The Animal Industry Division (AID) of the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) is committed to protecting, regulating, and promoting animal health. The purpose of this position is to support the activities of the Compliance Investigation Unit and assist the AID’s administrative duties. This position will primarily provide a full range of office support assignments for the AID Compliance Investigative Unit and other program areas as requested.
The official work location for this position is Constitution Hall in Lansing, MI. This position may offer some agreed upon remote work arrangement.

Required Education and Experience
Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
General Office Assistant 5
No specific type or amount of experience is required.
General Office Assistant 6
One year of administrative support experience.
General Office Assistant E7
Two years of administrative support experience, including one year equivalent to the intermediate level.
