Software Engineer Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to think strategically and reasonably in an environment with a lot of moving pieces. A keen sense of ownership, efficient execution, and scrappiness is a must. In this role, you will be responsible for the development of new functionality and enhancements to the core products that support Stay Alfred’s business process and services. You will work with various teams including Sales, Revenue Management and Customer Service to develop creative solutions satisfying both technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with all departments and aspects of the business to define solutions for continued hyper-growth
• Responsible for technical design, implementation, and deployment of strategic solutions
• Ability to convey a range of technical requirements to vendors and outsources, when needed
• Troubleshoot existing issues and provide solutions to remediate

Desired Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1+ years experience developing solutions
• Experience with .NET/C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, NodeJS, SQL, preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as a deeply proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ideal position for a smart, motivated individual – passionate about delivering strategic value
• Works well in an innovative, collaborative environment
• Previous experience with hospitality platforms is a plus
• Demonstrates resourceful initiative, attention to detail, the ability to learn quickly
