Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd Looking for Storeperson/Driver, Distribution New Plymouth at New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand Full Time

We are looking for a committed and hardworking Store person/Driver to join our team based in New Plymouth.

Your New Opportunity

As our new Storeperson/ Truck Driver your role will be split between the warehouse and managing deliveries. On any given day you’ll be responsible for picking and packing orders, unloading and loading trucks, re-stocking shelves, stocktaking, manual lifting, making deliveries and other general warehouse and administration duties.

The driver/store role is split between driving and store work mentioned above so you’ll need to be happy working independently and as part of a team – a class2 licence is also a necessity.

You get to work with a tight-knight and supportive team Monday to Friday – that’s right, no weekend work !

• Great communication skills and able to work within a small busy team
• A Class 2 truck licence
• Physically fit as some manual handling will be required on a daily basis
• A good grasp of computer skills and a willingness to complete essential admin tasks
• A friendly and positive demeanour
• Great attention to detail
• The ability to lead yourself – dependable, self-motivated
• An attitude that embraces and promotes health & safety
• Current F-endorsed forklift license would be preferred – (if not we will train you!)
