About The Opportunity Due to growth within the company, we have a full-time, permanent position available for a Diesel Technician based in a workshop in Hornby, Christchurch. Working in a modern workshop alongside a great team you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and completing preventive maintenance on a variety of trucks.
Key Duties
- Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of trucks.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure safety and reliability.
- Collaborating with a team of skilled mechanics and technicians to achieve top-notch results.
- Completing relevant paperwork.
About you:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engines and heavy Vehicles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
