Purpose Of The Role

The Construction Manager is in charge of the necessary planning execution, organization and monitoring of civil, mechanical, electrical activities and to ensure this large scale and logistically complex project is running on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the programme and construction activities for the project construction team.
• Coordination with specialist Senior Site Managers/Site Managers, including monitoring the labour force, monitoring subcontractors, checking materials with related departments.
• Drive the program for mechanical, electrical and civil on site works
• Overseeing and directing the construction project from conception to completion
• Overseeing the QA/QC process to ensure compliance with approved design, timelines, and safety regulations are achieved.
• Promote and maintain health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed
• Be client facing to resolve problems and provide update

To be successful you will have:

• Not less than five years professional construction management experience on power plant projects.
• Site/Construction Manager on least one (1) completed solar power plant project of at least 50 MWp net capacity.
• Ideally bachelor degree education level, but other relative qualifications and supporting working experience would be considered.
• Be Fluent in English.
