Steve Madden, Ltd Hiring for Production Coordinator at Long Island City, NY Full Time

• Submit request to Pricing / Sourcing for new Report pattern placement details & price information. Follow up to ensure any changes or adjustments to request are documented for final order detail communication.
• Run order detail meetings to ensure proper communication of new pattern order details and information is communicated to CSR / Technical / PD team for order entry and processing of orders with overseas offices.
• Enter and update (as needed) all production orders. Set up all style masters in A2000 as requested by sales support.
• Assist Technical department in review and approval of confirmation samples, material swatches and ordering, lead pairs and production cases.
• Work with Sales Support and CSR departments to ensure that Report orders and order updates and changes are processed correctly including size runs, detail changes as well as customer labeling and packaging requirements.
• Create and send carton and UPC label files from A2000 to FSR as requested. Ship special UPC labels to FSR as requested.
• Keep complete and up to date records for each style which are easily accessible for immediate reference. Provide information on current and past season styles and performance as requested.
• Monitor Inventory Availability and Bought and Sold report to ensure enough products are available to meet monthly, semi-annual and annual sales goals for Report. Bring inventory issues and suggestions to the attention of Report president. Follow up with Sales / Sales Support / CSR on adding or cancelling pairs, moving dates, changing size runs etc.
• Support merchandising process, ordering and tracking samples for shows. Attend trade shows and support sales process and follow up as requested.
• Take / clean pictures and upload to internet website Threadvine. Manage and update Threadvine. * Keep international customers up to date on Report buys. Enter and place orders, do follow up as needed.
• Assist Report president with specific customer account and attend applicable meetings and shows. * Organize and pack sales samples from past shows for storage unit.

Requirements:

• BA/BS Degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting executive level as Sales and Marketing assistant with a sales / manufacturing / distribution company
• 1 to 2 years’ experience in purchasing and or inventory management.
• Excellent communication, organizational and follow up skills and detail oriented.
• Computer experience in Outlook, MS Word and Excel, Order Processing and Inventory software.
