The Role: You would be responsible for creating and delivering training programs that align with the company’s goals and objectives, and that cater to the specific needs of each country and level of seniority where the company operates. This may involve designing and delivering in-person or online training sessions, creating learning materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.

• Designing and developing training programs: You would be responsible for designing and developing training programs that address the learning needs of employees in the company. You would need to collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop content that is relevant, engaging, and effective in helping employees acquire new skills and knowledge.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive leadership development program: You will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive leadership development program that aligns with the expected leadership skills at Stori. This program should cover a range of topics, including leadership skills, communication, and our culture.
• Implementing training programs: Once the training programs are designed and developed, you would be responsible for implementing them across the organization. You would need to work with managers to ensure that the training is delivered effectively, and that employees have the resources they need to succeed.
• Assessing training and development needs: As a Senior Manager, you would need to continually assess the training and development needs of the organization, and adjust training programs as necessary. This would involve analyzing performance data, identifying gaps in knowledge and skills, and designing targeted training programs to address those gaps.
• Fostering a culture of learning: You would be responsible for fostering a culture of learning throughout the organization. This would involve promoting the value of learning and development, and encouraging employees to take ownership of their own learning and development. You would also need to work with managers to ensure that they are providing opportunities for their employees to learn and grow.
• Managing and leading the L&D and Internal Comms team: You would oversee a team of L&D professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching as needed. You would ensure that your team is aligned with the company’s mission and vision, and that they are delivering high-quality training programs that meet the needs of the organization and its employees.

What we are looking for:

• Experience
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working on L&D, preferably in a leadership development capacity
• Track record of facilitating behavioral changes (leadership development, culture change) at a large team level (through multiple levers, not just training), first by training and comms and then by a system that engrains behaviors: from hiring, to daily interactions, coaching and feedback, and performance management
• 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment, such as a startup or high-growth company
• Experience designing and implementing learning programs from scratch
• Experience building learning programs from 0 to 10 and from 10 to 100
• Skills and attitudes
• e.g. knows how to leverage senior management team to coach and develop the middle management, and in turn leveraging the middle management to coach and develop junior / new managers
• Systems thinking. Organizational thinking. Human behaviors and thinking.
• Highly energetic. Action oriented. Fast
• Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Strong instructional design skills
• Experience with various learning methodologies, including in-person, online, and blended learning
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• A proactive, self-starter attitude with a willingness to take ownership and drive results
• A data-driven approach to learning and development, with a focus on measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of programs
• Required language: Spanish & Advanced English
