This role is crucial in helping us tell impactful stories, engage our audience, and elevate our content to the next level.

As a Videographer/Editor at StoryBrand and Coach Builder, you’ll be part of a creative team, developing and producing video content that drives our mission forward. You’ll pitch and execute video campaigns, conduct interviews, and edit videos that resonate with our audience. You’ll have the chance to shape and elevate how we present StoryBrand and Coach Builder’s message, ensuring that every piece of content aligns with our goals and vision. You will primarily focus on short form organic content that leads to growth and customer development across each branded platform.

Responsibilities:

• Video Campaign Development: Pitch ideas based on upcoming content needs, ensuring alignment with StoryBrand’s and Coach Builder’s mission and brand
• Creative Direction: Plan and execute video campaigns from concept to final production as a director, ensuring all videos meet high standards for creativity and quality
• Collaboration & Concept Development: Collaborate with the content and marketing teams to develop creative treatments and pitch ideas for new video projects
• Content Writing: Write compelling content plans for on-screen talent that align with our messaging and audience needs
• Interviews & Storytelling: Conduct interviews for point-of-view (POV) videos, capturing authentic and impactful stories from coaches and other individuals in our community
• Set Design & Lighting: Build video sets with proper lighting and placement to enhance production value
• Production & Editing: Execute all video production tasks, including shooting, editing, and delivering final products that align with our brand voice and goals
• Event Recaps & Campaign Videos: Build and produce dynamic video content for product launches, event recaps, and other key initiatives as needed

Must-Haves:

• Self-starter who enjoys coming up with and pitching creative ideas that align with strategic business goals
• Ability to oversee a video set and direct a team to achieve the project’s vision
• Skilled in shooting video, lighting sets, and editing video content
• 3+ years of experience in writing scripts and/or creative treatments
• 3+ years of experience interviewing individuals for POV or storytelling content
• Strong video editing skills with a keen eye for detail and pacing
• Outgoing with exceptional communication skills, comfortable working across teams
• Proactive, with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of projects from start to finish

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in graphic design or motion graphics to enhance video content
• Background in fine art, fashion, or other creative industries

Day-to-Day:

We operate in a fast-paced, innovative environment where creativity and adaptability are essential. You’ll be working Monday-Friday, and while the schedule is structured, we value flexibility to pivot strategies as needed to meet project demands.
