Love payroll? Love People? Love being part of a close-knit team?
We have a fantastic opportunity for a payroll superstar to join our People and Culture team at Straker. We have a global team of over 280 people around the world and are looking for someone with the X factor to bring together all of our global payroll’s under the one role.
The ideal candidate will absolutely bring with them a minimum of 3 years payroll experience. Don’t worry – it doesn’t have to be global payroll experience, we have fabulous advisors to help you along the way. You will have an eye for detail, the ability to multi-task and will bring a positive, can-do attitude and a fun sense of humour to the role. This role will be in our light and bright modern office, adjacent to the Constellation Bus Station and motorway on and off ramps. We have a fabulous Work Your Way policy which allows you to have full flexibility around the structure of your hours and the way in which you work. You can have days you work from home but you will love coming into the office too, to work alongside your fabulous team to share ideas, information and laughter.
Initially, you will be learning all aspects of the global payroll and the requirements in each market. This training will be done piece by piece with full support – with the expectation that it will likely take you 3-4 months before you are comfortably across it all. Once your training wheels are off, you previous experience and understanding of payroll will result in the payroll and benefits management not quite filling your full week – and you will then grow and expand your skills in the many and varied tasks of People and Culture and work alongside your team to support our internal customers. In this team – we all pitch in, roll our sleeves up and support each other which allows for a robust, cross-skilled, supportive team that is super productive and has fun while doing their job.
People are at the heart of all we do and our culture is unconditionally inclusive at the Straker Group. We recruit the most talented individuals to join us on our journey – regardless of their race, sexual orientation, religion, age, gender, disability status. By embracing and respecting our differences and harnessing the uniqueness that we each bring to our role – we have created an incredible global team of Rebels to fight the battle on behalf of our customers.
