We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Financial Controller to join our Finance team – located in our light and bright office on Auckland’s North Shore, adjacent to the Constellation Bus Station and motorway onramps. The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced Financial Controller who has worked within a global company. You will be commercially aware, have strong financial, accounting and leadership skills and a strong eye for detail.  This role will require a finance superstar who is a master at prioritisation and has great strengths in statutory accounting and tax. Your will be tenacious, efficient and your ability to inspire and engage your team will be second to none.

Role Responsibilities:

• Month-end review and Group consolidation
• Balance Sheet, Cashflow, AP, AR Management
• Audit and statutory accounts management including putting together statutory account statements
• Work with external tax and accounting advisors
• Identify system and process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Financial Management of entities
• Manage foreign currency cover and payments
• Tax and transfer pricing

Role Requirements: 

• CA Qualified
• Experience with Audit, tax (international), and statutory reporting
• Commercial nous
• Leadership experience
• With a global team – must be prepared for frequent meetings outside of normal hours
• Strong communication skills
• High level of computer literacy with advanced Excel
• Positive attitude with a good sense of humour
• Must be eligible to work in New Zealand
