About the role:

Due to continued growth, Stratco are looking for a skilled professional to join our multi-disciplinary, agile Software Development team. Located in our Adelaide head office, you will be responsible for supporting, developing, and maintaining new and current bespoke applications across a variety of platforms, languages and frameworks deployed across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute as a core member of a multi-disciplined, agile development team
• Assist in collection and documentation of user requirements and provide insightful solutions
• Design, develop and test applications according to user requirements
• Develop quality assurance practices that suit the application
• Package and support deployment of releases
• Work across .NET and Java-based applications
• Understanding of how to support currently deployed applications
• Ability to understand the structure of a DB, especially MSSQL
• Understanding of querying paradigm
• Ability to maintain DB to best industry practices

Skills, Experience and Attributes:

• Bachelor Degree in IT or relevant experience
• Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
• 3+ years development experience
• Understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
• .NET experience
• Understanding of DB structure and querying concepts
• Desire to learn and adapt to requirements, especially with new technologies
• High attention to detail
