What You Will Do
The Pricing and Contracts Administrator is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative areas for the contracts, pricing, rebates and ProCare functions, and requires close interaction with the Customers, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Management, and Senior Leadership teams.This is a great opportunity for someone who possesses an acute sense of urgency, attention to detail, strong organization, and analytical skills with a customer service orientation. This role provides a unique opportunity to work cross-divisionally and build relationships with both internal and external customers. This individual must serve as a positive contributing member of the Pricing, Proposals and Contract team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.
Shared email inbox:
Provide coverage support to Pricing and Contracts department shared email inboxes by utilizing resourcefulness and critical thinking skills to research and resolve inquiries and employ excellent time management and organizational skills to follow up with customers on all outstanding issues within expected timelines.
Pricing support:
Assist with entry of pricing commitments in ERP System
Investigate and clear pricing discrepancies, and CEFs
Investigate and resolve Customer and Sales pricing inquires
Rebates:
Maintain accuracy of Rebate Summary and ensure all extensions/expires submitted to third party rebate partner, FORMA AI
Ensure timely submission of rebate payments for Commercial approval and processing at Shared Services
Request updated Finance Compliance Checklists for new contracts and extensions
Provide EFT, cheque and sales reporting to customers, as required by contract terms
Collaborate with Senior Pricing Analyst to drive continuous improvement in Rebate processes, for example, conversion from cheque to EFT payments for all rebates
Manage requests for sales reporting from other Stryker Divisions (Sustainability and Sage) and obtain Customer contract compliance reports
Assist with Customer and Sale rebate inquires
Contract & ProCare support:
Provide contract administration consisting primarily of acquiring appropriate approvals, signatures, scanning and mailing
Create and update the Contract management system with all required information including workflow and key contract details
Support ProCare contract ERP data entry, service contract reporting, and monitoring of the ProCare Canada email inbox.
Assist in review and action open contracts awaiting signature or in negotiation and minimize number of open contracts at any point in time (and maximize revenue and invoicing)
Collaborate with sales representatives and customers to review and enter new service contract orders to ensure proper coverage is applied
Work with Finance Team to ensure correct billings are applied, credited and re-billed due to contract changes
Work with in-house service and field service departments to ensure the ERP appropriately reflects contract status or pricing agreement terms with clear start and end dates
Validates the integrity of an agreement’s terms and conditions, purchase order information and pricing. Work with the legal team to review customer’s terms and conditions when needed
Track and report all part price discount in eligible contracts to the pricing team
Research past service contracts and provide historical data to sales representatives and customers
Provides ad hoc support for proposals including scanning, mailing, and filing both digital and hard copies
Other:
Engages in continuous improvement reviews, and provides recommendations, solutions, supports ideas and initiatives
Participate in development, creation, improvement and execution of standard procedures in the Pricing and Contracts department
Develop product working knowledge
Build strong partnerships with all stakeholders including customers, sales representatives, commercial leaders and marketing
Maintains a good understanding of procurement at the hospital, regional, provincial, and national buying group levels to ensure alignment with customer and government imposed terms & conditions
Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager
What You Need
Post-Secondary education required; University Degree preferred.
Minimum of one year administrative experience preferred
Bilingual (French & English) is an asset
Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
Working knowledge of contract terminology, practices and concepts, or demonstrated ability to quickly acquire working knowledge of similarly complex areas of knowledge
Demonstrated ability to apply strong organizational and time management skills in the context of a complex, high volume workload
Strong ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities
Utilizes technology-based tools and processes and demonstrates ability to learn and employ new technology applications
Willingness to adjust schedule for month end or other purposes
Assist with entry of pricing commitments in ERP System
Investigate and clear pricing discrepancies, and CEFs
Investigate and resolve Customer and Sales pricing inquires
