We are a small (but rapidly growing) drumming school in Verdun, looking for help with the weekly administrative tasks.

The candidate can work from wherever they like., but they must live in the Montreal-area, as we will do work together in-person from time-to-time.

They must be available for video-conferencing at all times during their work hours, so a quiet workspace is a must.

At the beginning we can offer 3-5 hours per week, increasing at certain peak busy times, and as our business increases.

Working Monday – Friday at the same time each day is an asset, but not required.
For example, 9am, Monday to Friday.

The tasks will vary each day, depending on our needs, but daily tasks will include:

• Invoicing
• Scheduling of clients & teachers (involving phone calls & emailing)
• Light bookkeeping (you will need to learn our very simple system)
• Internet research
• Google Drive usage
• Composing documents
• Website updates (asset, not required)
• Social Media posting using Hootsuite

Requirements:

• Experience as an admin assistant
• Punctuality
• Fully bilingual (written & spoken)
• Highly self-motivated
• Great working attitude
• Positive and easy to work with
• Strong computer skills (able to tackle new computer tasks)
• Understanding of Google Drive
• Able to learn a basic bookkeeping & scheduling program
• Able to do video-conferencing during work hours
• Zoom app is needed for screen sharing
• Creative thinker
• Complete confidentiality
• Interested in a long-term relationship with our business
