StudySmarter Hiring for Content Creator – TOEFL Exams at Remote Full Time

YOUR ROLE

As an TOEFL Content Creator (m/f/d) at StudySmarter, you are responsible for creating first-class content for our website. You will become part of a young, dynamic team and support us in implementing our test prep content strategy. The goal: to position StudySmarter as the # 1 EdTech startup worldwide.

Your responsibilities are:

• Create high-quality, original TOEFL questions and explanations as part of StudySmarter’s TOEFL practice exams, as well as other test prep content like flashcards and crash courses.

• Work with quality checkers and editors in a multi-stage revision process to refine both old and new test prep material.

• Serve as a TOEFL expert. You know this test inside and out – and can quickly point out crucial patterns in the official exams.

• As part of the content task force, you’ll work on many different content projects with your teammates – all with a major impact on student success.

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS ROLE

• A TOEFL III certification or higher.

• You have 2+ years of TOEFL tutoring or classroom instruction experience.

• You’re fluent in English (at least level C1)

• You have a great eye for creating learning materials that are appropriate and accessible for the target group

• Relevant bachelor’s and/graduate degree

• You have a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problems

• Interpersonal skills and communication are among your strengths

• You work in a focused, structured manner and enjoy working at a fast pace in dynamic, ever-changing environments

• You have a good understanding of the requirements of different markets and cultures in English-speaking countries.

• 1+ year in test preparation content writing (encouraged, but not required)
