DescriptionSTV, Inc. currently is seeking an Architect, based out of our Denver,Colorado office for our Building & Facilities division. STV, Inc.specializes in the planning, organization, and development of buildingsand facilities design. As an architect with STV, you will enjoy outstandingopportunities for innovation, challenging design, and direct collaborationwith project team members from architectural and engineering disciplines.The Architect will have the opportunity to work with anarchitectural/engineering team in the design of spaces which meet at theintersection of function and technology. The Architect will provide designand documentation support for both new construction and renovations -specifically for projects in the Science &Technology, and Federal andIntelligence Community sectors.You will have the opportunity to:Lead Architectural Design work from programming and concept design throughconstruction documentation for projects requiring interface and collaborationwith various disciplines and consultants.Determine collectively with project management, the technical approach anddesign criteria for projects.Plan, schedule, coordinate, manage and oversee the work of lower-levelarchitects who assist with projects.Prepare architectural drawings, utilizes a strong knowledge of buildingtechnology; and/or supervises their execution for all phases of a project.Perform independent investigations, studies, and architectural analysisExecute code analysis, material selections, and coordinates withspecifications writerConduct site and construction inspectionsLead and coach junior architectural staffReview shop drawings and Requests for InformationRequirements:A Professional Degree in Architecture is required with 8 + years ofregistered experienceExperience with SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) andICD 705 projects or willingness to be trained are preferredProficiency with BIM / Revit, Blue Beam and Microsoft Office Suite arerequired.Photoshop, Sketchup, Enscape and Vray rendering is a plusExcellent design, presentation skills, both verbal and visual, andstrong knowledge for generating technical details that are constructible isessentialThe candidate should be a self-starter with a passion for problem solving,and an understanding that project success comes through teamwork, and a firmfocus on client needsMust be a US CitizenGeneral Benefits DescriptionSTV takes pride in our vast array of employee benefits and offers acomprehensive health and welfare programs to include market competitivemedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits to our employeesand their eligible dependents.
