WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Global E-Separation PSI Leader is responsible for aligning, coordinating and balancing production activities for Global ED and EDR Portfolio within ES business. He/She will work closely with the Commercial teams to understand future demand and align the regional Supply Chain to fulfill that demand. They will work with the Execution teams to establish operating rhythms with regional production teams to help efficiently manage the fulfillment of this demand. They will manage in-house production capacity for Membrane, Spacer and Stacks production within NAM, and coordinate with PSI leaders from other regions to optimize fulfillment capacity to meet the needs of the business.
The Global Supply Chain for Water Technologies & Solutions is comprised of 49 manufacturing and service center locations across 5 continents. It is responsible for the sourcing, manufacture, and delivery for Specialty Chemicals, Filters, Membranes, Standard and Custom Water Treatment and Monitoring Equipment and Services relating to Mobile Water Treatment. Focusing on the NAM ES Business, this role will work closely with Commercial, Execution and Supply Chain to align Production activities with overall business goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Establish and maintain cross-functional operating rhythms between the Commercial, Execution and Production teams for Global ED and EDR Production. Actively work to maintain and build these relationships
Work with Product Management, Production and Sourcing to help identify and execute opportunities to drive down lead time for Standard Products.
Provide analysis and input to help align the Commercial pipelines to Operations/Production Planning (rolling forecast). Use this forecast to provide feedback to Commercial teams on delivery dates and fulfillment strategies.
Maximize loading of ED/EDR production plants to ensure we can meet / exceed liquidation budget by level loading sites and flexing inventory strategy proactively.
Together with production teams, drive on-time-delivery to sales orders and project demands.
Management of Global ED/EDR inventory and align to P&L Cash target. Actively monitor and coordinate management of Slow-Moving/Non-Moving inventory reserves with multiple stakeholders.
Effectively recognize risks and opportunities, as well as make decisions and lead people in a cross-functional environment. Organize and present data, analysis and options to management in a concise manner when needed.
Foster and drive an environment of continuous improvement amongst multiple teams and platforms.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Core Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, operations, supply chain management or business with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar or related role.
Desired Qualifications:
· MRP experience and knowledge in ERP system software (preferably SAP)
· Certification in Supply Chain Management: APICS (CPIM) or Lean/Six sigma (Green Belt Lean/Six Sigma training is preferred)
· Prior supply chain operations and manufacturing experience
· Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
· Strong planning, analytical and critical thinking skills
· Ability to work well in a fast-paced and challenging environment
· Result oriented mindset
· P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow practice and understanding
· Ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems through data gathering and analytics
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with diverse teams and all levels of the organization in order to adapt / drive change across functions and dynamic business environment
