Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Classroom Teacher role located in our Grey Lynn campus, in Central Auckland. This is a upper primary year level-year 7/8 position. The Classroom Teacher will be responsible for daily tasks associated with teaching, planning lessons, and effectively communicating learning material with students.

We offer gold standard Structured Literacy training to all team members, as well as many other PL opportunties throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Education, Teaching, and Communication skills
• Experience in lesson planning
• Possess a sound understanding of teaching principles and practices
• Ability to connect with students effectively
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
• A passion for helping children to learn and develop both academically and emotionally
• Previous experience working with dyslexic and twice-exceptional students is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Education
• Specialising in music, sports, or arts would be super, but not essential
