Sundance Institute Hiring for Festival Coordinator, Digital Operations at Remote Full Time

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Festival Coordinator, Digital Operations will provide remote support to the Digital Operations team for planning and implementing online events and screenings during Sundance Film Festival 2023 (SFF23).

Working closely under the direction of the Director, Digital, the Festival Coordinator, Digital Operations supports Sundance Institute’s commitment to discover, support, and inspire independent film and media artists from the United States and around the world, and to introduce audiences to their new work.

This temporary position works part time (20 hrs per week) from Monday, December 5, 2022 through Tuesday, January 31, 2023. An ability to work flexible hours will be required which can include extended hours, evenings, early mornings, and weekends to meet shift needs. Full day availability during the Film Festival is required. Reliable, high-speed internet connection with at least 10 mbps download speed. This is a fully remote position that does not require any onsite work duties.

Top priorities include but are not limited to…

• Handling entering event and screening data into our Festival Platform Content Management System (CMS) as well as our vendor provided streaming platform (Eventive).

• Helping to plan the schedule for all employee onboarding and training.

• Assisting in creating training documentation, and ensuring it is stored correctly in our shared drive.

• Providing assistance as needed to the Festival Online Event Coordinator in planning and implementing online events.

• Attending meetings and taking notes to ensure proper documentation as requested by the Director, Digital.

You have the following direct or transferable skill sets:

• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

• 2 years project coordination experience.

• Working knowledge of media streaming devices, i.e. Zoom and YouTube.

• Working proficient knowledge of Google Suite Products including but not limited to Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive, and Google Docs.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to mitigate conflict and facilitate positive customer relations.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule due to multiple shift rotations as needed.

• Ability to maintain a suitable home work environment, free from noise/distractions.
