We seek a Patient Registration Rep for our center to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high-quality, efficient care. The Patient Registration Rep is responsible for interviewing patients to complete all admission/registration functions. Completes all necessary prior authorizations, notifications, and other insurance or third-party payor requirements. Is responsible for exceeding customer expectations in service provided. Requests and receipts up-front collections, performing cashier duties as needed. Interacts with physicians and physicians’ offices as needed. Promotes a team approach and is goal-oriented.

In 2005, Sunrise Children’s Hospital completed a $75 million renovation and expansion effort, which is the last time the facility added to its capacity. Currently, the two hospitals have 690 beds. When the project is complete, the capacity will grow to 834 beds.

Qualifications

• High school graduate

• Two years’ previous experience in a medical facility or related work field.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of computers and ability to type 40 wpm.
• Outstanding customer service skills
