Position Requirements

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• 2+ years of software development using JavaScript, Html, CSS
• 2+ years working with modern front-end frameworks with React
• General understanding of development fundamentals such as OO and Functional Patterns, Testing, Accessibility
• Experience with building responsive solutions across all major browsers and devices
• An understanding of data engineering pipelines and analytics
• Knowledge of back-end development
• Experience with React, Contentful, and Remix or Next
• A willingness to learn and grow

Position Responsibilities

• Contribute to resilient, performant, and secure front-end components that power one of the Sunstate experiences.
• Implement complex features with little or no assistance.
• Partner with Product Management to quickly deliver features in an agile environment.
• Build and care for your product—complete ownership.
• Elevate your overall technical understanding of engineering through mentoring and coaching.
