We are seeking a warm and friendly individual to join our Data Entry team. Candidates should be comfortable using a standard keyboard, accurately entering data into databases and using spreadsheet software in order to generate reports. The Data Entry Clerk will work independently and on a team, and must have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review PDF’s and edit word documents

• Confirm, corroborate, and remove unnecessary data, or combine data from several sources

• Survey reports and sheets of data

• Make Excel templates and questionnaires

• Data manipulation

• Reformat documents from Word to Excel and vice versa

• Utilize pivot tables and other functions in Excel

• Analyze completed work for duplications or errors in content before submitting the final product

• Search the internet for information

• Send approximately 300 emails a month to 3rd party organizations to acquire appropriate data

• Perform other duties as needed

• Performs low-volume data entry(average: 6,000 keystrokes per hour).

• Good verbal and written communications skills required.

• Identify and correct data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.

• Utilizing multiple applications simultaneously

• Sitting for extended periods of time

• Uses word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other software on a computer.

• Check data for accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED

• Data Entry skills, 6,000 k.p.h preferred.

• Office/computer experience preferred.

• Solid computer skills – basic typing, navigation of toolbar

• Solid data entry skills required.

• Detail oriented with strong Interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills

• Good verbal and written communications skills required.

• Knowledge required for operation of keyboard.

• Ability to sit for long periods of time

• Experience in MS Office products preferred.
