About the Role | Mō te Tūranga
We’re looking for two Customs Brokers to join our r logistics team here in Aotearoa.You will have a direct reporting line into the Customer and Biosecurity Clearance Manager based in Australia and also have a dotted line into NZ’s Landside Logistics Manager.
This is a new function being established to manage all of WWNZ imported goods, 95% of the volume is food which is more complex and challenging for clearance. You’ll be a busy team with fairly large import volumes, approximately 5000 entries a year!
You will ensure team members are adhering to company and industry processes and past classification / concession use, valuation and all compliance requirements.

About You | Mōu
To succeed in these roles you should have at least 2 years experience in import entry writing, with your own valid NZ Customs Broker PIN, or 5+ years working as a lead customs broker. You will need to have a very good understanding of Customs and MPI requirements and the confidence classifying a wide range of products.
This is a pivotal role and stakeholder engagement will be second nature as you easily navigate through the wider business, developing strong relationships. You will be diligent and methodical with exceptional attention to detail and be an excellent communicator. A working knowledge of CargoWise One is desirable and intermediate Excel skills is a must.
